- Myra Sofa: Drawing inspiration from the 1960s. New design details such as a mitred arm and backrest enhance the low back cushions and deep laidback seat that take inspiration from the original design. Featuring a mid-century wooden frame and textured, moss-green woven upholstery, this piece combines natural timber and tactile materials for a timeless, mixed-material design.
- Leif Kitchen Island: Prioritising durability and functionality with quality solid wood and a simple, streamlined design inspired by Habitat’s archival 1990s kitchens. This piece inherits groove detailing on its doors, modernised with new handle shapes to showcase joint details. Open shelving allows for further storage or decorative displays, creating a multifunctional design.
- Albers Desk: Harking back to the iconic Micro Tech silhouette from the late 1980s, today’s contemporary take features a robust tubular steel frame, contrasted with warm tones of timber. The integration of floating shelves allows for easily accessible storage and a clean, uncluttered aesthetic.
“Revisiting Habitat’s archives to reinterpret designs for our new collections has been a unique opportunity and one we continue to build on. We explore our extensive archives for inspiration that embodies our distinctive design DNA and has the potential to resonate with today’s lifestyle and contemporary living. Our aim is to connect the past with the future, preserving the character of these designs while reimagining them in a way that feels fresh and relevant. Across many of the archive-inspired pieces, inspiration begins with the original design and then we experiment with different ways to bring this back to life through new techniques, textures and updated colour palettes. The result is a collection of Habitat reimagined classics that stays true to our identity while appealing to modern homes for years to come.” Andrew Tanner, Head of Design at Habitat
A series of newly conceived lighting continues to echo Habitat’s distinctive design language, highlights include:
- Flore Lamp: A revisit of a classic 1990s design defined by its stylised and distinctive mushroom shape. Reintroduced with a softer silhouette, rounded profile and sealed top to create a clean, modern look and warm ambient glow. This piece brings understated character to any interior and is available in multiple colours and sizes.
- Ringo Shade: Reviving classic ribbed detailing with a wider, flatter profile and deep green glass that lends a subtle mid-century feel, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere that complements modern interiors.
- Misil Table Lamp: Originally a floor lamp that has been updated to suit smaller spaces. Three opal glass shades rest on a sleek, square metal frame, creating a refined industrial aesthetic. Its sculptural form delivers a striking statement while casting a soft, diffused glow.

Integral to the collection are new designs across Habitat’s rug offering, with archive inspired pieces all featuring 100% wool and hand-tufted techniques for the highest quality. Highlights include:
- Mid-Century Rug: Inspired by the simplicity of flat weave geometric stripes, our updated take on this 2003 design brings the retro aesthetic back to life. Utilising hand tufted craftsmanship, the bold pattern has been scaled up and refreshed with striking emerald, taupe and pops of oxblood red.
- Industrial Stripe Pile Rug: A minimalistic, versatile design with thoughtful craftsmanship, taken from the 1988 archives. It combines mid-century-inspired lines with a contemporary edge, softened with a luxurious cream base for a more elevated look.
- Patch Wool Rug: A noughties number from 2005 that pays homage to Habitat’s long-time love of bold colour and confident styling, with a modern patch design in a vibrant block pattern and sophisticated rainbow shades.
