Habitat announces its next collection with Morris & Co. for AW25
6 August 2025

Following its successful launch in September 2024, Habitat is pleased to announce a second autumn winter iteration of its popular collaboration with Morris & Co. This September, a striking collection of over 160 homeware and furniture pieces will be available, including the return of collaboration favourites and 90 new maximalist designs all of which reimagine William Morris’s iconic heritage designs for modern living.
“Habitat’s partnership with Morris & Co. continues to redefine the landscape for traditional interiors. This next iteration is no exception, with a collection that celebrates the spirit of maximalism through bold silhouettes and large-scale prints in exclusive colour palettes. Drawing on decades of Habitat’s design expertise, influences such as the Art Nouveau era and the sumptuous interiors of Morris’s homes have been thoughtfully reinvigorated to offer a fresh perspective on traditional design. Each piece maintains the depth, drama and storytelling at the heart of Habitat and Morris & Co., creating the perfect blend of heritage and innovation for contemporary spaces.”
Andrew Tanner, Habitat Head of Design
“It has been such a thrill to return to the design table with Habitat for this new season's collection. Morris & Co.’s founding principles of ‘good design for all’ has never felt more true than in the spirit of this collection, where we’ve embraced the radicalism of William Morris and his creative collective for a maximalist vision that adds a little Arts & Crafts disruption to the modern home, while remaining lovingly crafted and committed to heritage excellence. Habitat is known for its contemporary charm and modernist take on interiors. We’re delighted to continue working with them, carrying Morris & Co.’s legacy forward for new generations.”
Claire Vallis, Morris & Co. Design Director
Iconic prints such as Sunflower Woodblock, Pimpernel, Blackthorn, Willow Boughs and Acanthus are available in bespoke scales and brave new colourways, exclusive to Habitat, while Batchelors Button and Kennet are new print additions to the collection, each brought to life in modern interpretation across cushions, throws and bed linen.
The timeless, well-crafted and contemporary design of the Merton upholstered chair and sofa has also been updated in the bold Acanthus and Sunflower Woodblock prints to create statement living room pieces.
The Habitat design studio continues to be influenced by England’s Arts and Crafts Movement, which champions traditional craftsmanship, natural forms and high-quality design. The new Luxe occasional armchair takes inspiration from this era with the fabric and colour combination paying homage to William Morris’ Red House in Bexleyheath. The sweeping armrest and curved backrest reflect the movements characteristic organic forms, while the dark-stained timber base enhances its classic appeal.
Opulent accents play a key role in the collection, with the new Cane Floor Lamp inspired by the intricate bamboo furniture seen at William Morris's Wightwick Manor. The brass components bring a timeless glow that elevates the lamps luxurious appeal, topped with a fluted shade drawn from the distinctive wooden beading found throughout Wightwick Manor.

The year’s Habitat x Morris & Co. collection features 209 pieces, including 90 new designs for AW25. Products will be available from September 2025 online at habitat.co.uk and argos.co.uk and in selected Sainsbury’s stores. Prices start from £7.50 for a room spray to £800 for the Merton Upholstery 2-seater sofa in both Sunflower Woodblock and Acanthus prints.

About Morris & Co.
As a political theorist, publisher, environmental campaigner, poet, and outstanding designer, William Morris (1834–1896) was one of the single most influential figures of the nineteenth century, founding Morris & Co. (originally Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co.) in 1861. Under his direction, the company grew into a flourishing and fashionable Arts & Crafts decorating business renowned for wallpapers and textiles, becoming part of Sanderson & Sons in 1940.
Today, the Sanderson Design Group builds on that proud heritage with the inventive reimagining of Morris & Co. classics, ever upholding the impeccable standard of craftsmanship that has defined all Morris & Co. products since inception. Guided by the creative intuition of William Morris, designs are inspired by treasures in the Morris & Co. archive, which houses historical logbooks, samples of each wallpaper, printed and woven textiles and original wooden printing blocks. With the ability to faithfully transform a space into an Arts & Crafts haven through evocation of the glorious drama and wonderment in nature, the authentic archival documents and designs of Morris & Co. continue to inspire interest and insatiable demand to this day.
