Habitat launches two new trend stories for Summer 2025
Habitat’s new Italian Riviera and Desert Landscape trends welcome a range of exciting homeware and furniture designs to the existing collections. Available at habitat.co.uk and argos.co.uk and in selected Sainsbury's stores from this month.

Italian Riviera
Inspired by the charming fishing towns of the Italian Riviera, this story echoes the warmth and spirit of coastal living. Featuring a sun-drenched palette, hand-drawn motifs and studio style glassware inspired by local produce found on land and at sea, the range transforms the everyday into a Mediterranean escape. Scalloped edges, fruit prints and retro geometric patterns add a nostalgic touch, while natural, raw wood grounds the furniture in an organic, rustic sensibility and textural weaves in a mix of colours reflect the imperfect beauty of seaside facades.

Desert Landscape
Rooted in the raw beauty of the Sonoran Desert, this story draws from its vast, sun-scorched terrain and geological formations. A palette of burnt sienna, bronze and sandy wood tones is offset with soft blues and crimson, echoing the balance between earth and open sky. Tactile finishes create depth and emulate the rugged forms of the desert landscape, while detailed weaving and splatter ceramics speak to artisanal craftsmanship and storytelling through texture. Terracotta features prominently throughout and pieces have been handcrafted by artisans in Portugal, ranging from glazed dinnerware to matte accessories with distinctive bobbin detailing.
